Guy Allegedly Threatened CT Lawmaker

An Ansonia, Connecticut man who opposed gun legislation pending at the state capitol called a lawmaker and warned that a Gabrielle Giffords-like incident could happen in Connecticut if the bill becomes law.

Cops arrested him, then searched his house, where they found a boatload of legally-owned guns. They confiscated the weapons as a harassment charge works its way through the system.

The man said he’s a sickly old fellow who was misunderstood.

He said he gets dizzy just standing up — and that he fell several times trying to clean up his house after the police raid Thursday.

“My house is trashed like hell. They took everything apart,”

Whole story is here.
